Decking the Tree 2010!

I love Christmas trees. One of my favorite things to do during the holiday season is just sit, in the dark, and watch the flickering lights on our decorated tree. Each ornament on our tree comes with a memory, from trips to fabulous places and hand-made, well loved gifts from my boys. It is all the best of the holiday season.

As is our family tradition, we decorated our trees the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

After we finished decorating the trees, Aidan turned to me, smiled and said, "Mom, after we all go upstairs to bed, you are going to rearrange all those ornaments on the tree aren't you?"

Well, yes I am. It's good to know your child knows you that well. Because all my loving up of the Christmas tree may also make me a little particular about the decorations actually on the tree. I simply can't help myself.
