Gus Macker

Aidan and his buddies put together a team to compete in this year's Gus Macker basketball tournament at Darien Lake.  The whole family went to cheer on his team "Inferno" and managed to spend some quality time in the park in between games.  It was all fun and games until the skies opened up, drenching the players and bystanders.  Even with the rain, I think Aidan is already planning his team for next year.

Hot Tub!

Chris loves hot tubs.  If we are traveling and there is a chance to soak up a hot tub, he is all in.  When he found out our neighbor was trying to unload a hot tub they purchased and used all of once, he was beyond excited.  He wanted that tub.  It didn't hurt that it was a state of the art, fancy pants hot tub that costs a small fortune that we could get for a steal.  No, that didn't hurt at all.

My favorite was our conversation when he was finalizing the purchase.  He asked me if I was truly okay with him purchasing the tub.  I told him if he wanted it, I was all good with it.  He looked at me with big serious eyes and said firmly, "I just think this is a quality of life issue."

Um, wow.  Okay, then.  Quality of life it is.

Hot tub!

The whole family loves the hot tub.  I love it too.  What I love most is how our family of five will end the day together laughing and enjoying the tub.  It's a nice, relaxing way to enjoy family time.  The nice back massage jets don't hurt either.
